Is there a minimum number of bikes required?

There is no requirement to hold any specific number of rental vehicles.

We have worked hard to develop a rental system that makes good business sense. As such, the dealer is free to manage inventory as they see fit. For example, you might choose not to hold any inventory in the middle of winter.

Having said that, as a practical matter, and depending on the models, you'll need something like four bikes at 10% utilisation, or over, to keep your rental operation in the black. 

A smaller number of vehicles at higher utilisation makes a better return on the smaller investment, but more bikes at a little lower utilisation will produce more revenue. So it is all about finding the balance that works in your market. 

We don't prescribe or require any specific number of vehicles because it's your business, your choice. We're here to advise you and help you find that balance.
